Phantom 6: Need’s Salt

Seriously, I like assassins and all, but this show, which I have been loving so far, is starting to develop a repetitive and blase storyline. IE, it’s gotten dull. Episode six was by no means bad. But it left me wanting change.

Summary: Basically, in this episode, Ein and Zwei kill everyone……again.

Assume that "everyone" was in that car.

Assume that "everyone" was in that car.

I mean, they use a pretty cool way of killing everyone: They kill everyone, and deceive people into thinking that 2 gangs are killing each other, and then Inferno is there to swoop in and appoint their guys as new leaders of said gangs. But at this point, it’s just more of the same. In that sense, this show is starting to remind me of Gunslinger Girl, which started off by getting me excited (assassins), but then died out (repetitive). As of now, Phantom is dying out. You can tell by this post:

  • Only one screen shot, that means I don’t care enough to make a decent post.
  • I actually gave a summary, and it was one sentence long.
  • This is a short post.

Show me something soon, Phantom. Give me some type of continuity soon because you went from very high on my list to close to the danger zone in one short episode.

At least Zwei broke out a cool mask:

This was the best scene of the episode. It was about 5 seconds long and contained no talking.

  1. you completely missed the point of this episode.. but im not gonna explain it.. because ive done that too many times before… it’s not repetitive at all

  2. Well, the last 2 episodes were anime-original filler. Judging from the the context of the preview for 8 and the allocated episodes for this arc, I’d say episode 9 will be the start of what you’re looking for.

    Everything is downhill from there.

  3. Hmm?? There was an episode about Need’s salt??? ( ゚ Д゚)

Can’t believe you didn’t italicize change.

What do you expect from a show that uses Phantom five to six times in its title? This fucking guy.
