And an episode 10 review, because I have a lot to say.
Okay, so everyone is rooting for Hina to be the one to end up with Hayate, but I say, no. Hayate should end up with Maria, because Maria is the best character in the show, and is generally amazing. Also, my cat is very annoying, as it doesn’t leave my the fuck alone. STOP SCRATCHING ME YOU STUPID FUCK. (No one fucking cares).
So what happens to Hina? Well the answer is obvious. Make her a lesbian. Did you see how much candy she got from girls on Valentines Day? She would rule the lesbian empire of lesbians!

It's already obvious to me that Miki is diggin Hina's scene if you know what I mean.

The Actual Episode 10!
The more I see her the more I like Ayumu. I mean, she’s probably my second favorite in the Hayate love race, behind Maria, who is awesome. Her whole “bicycle shitting the bed ad Hayate saving her” story is really great. Too bad she has no chance, because Maria, who is awesome, is awesome. By the way, what ever happened to Nagi? Is she still alive?
Nagi needs to show up for once.
Hayate is being kind of dumb. He needs to realize something, and fast:

Luckily, Hayate gets Maria a present for no reason, and they actually get kind of close (emotionally). So close that Maria tells him a little about her past blah blah blah. Hayate agrees to get her a better present than the shitty stuffed animal that he originally bought her.

I honestly thought that you’re going to question the existence of Hayate’s ex-girlfriend. Since it does not look like Ayako Kawasumi is just there as an extra.

Unfortunately, even with the 220+ chapters of the manga, I have yet to see Maria’s birthday. Maria’s birthday started long ago in the volume 1 of the series – since the series setting was December 24. Nagi’s birthday by the way was December 30 which may probably be New Year’s Eve. Hinagiku’s birthday is in the Hinamatsuri. Wow. Giving birth dates parallel with the important dates.

Start of the rumored Hinagiku birthday arc starts tomorrow.

Hayate remains optimistic as he tries to say that he does not get into trouble that often.

Nagi hasn’t been in an episode forever… she hasnt been the female lead of an ep since like ep 6
Most likely to be Hina X Miki, since in Volume 19 Miki indirectly tells Hayate that she has affections for Hina.
Just to spoil a little bit.
It’s definitely obvious to me that Miki has a thing for Hina, and if there’s a lesbian couple, that’s what it would be. It’s my hopes that she can maybe persuade Hina to at least become bisexual.
Of course Hina X Ayumu would never happen (which is why its impossible to root for), but if it did, it would arguably create the best lesbian duo in anime.
Until then, Hina needs to be a lesbian.
