Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 11: NO!

NOTE: This whole post was due to lack of memory on my part. I do not take it back though!

I had been waiting for this arc to be made into episodes. Waiting and waiting. I mean, it’s not really an arc, let’s call it, the Rush Valley Segment. Whatever. I love Rush Valley. It was probably one of my favorite parts of the manga. But seriously. This was a bungle and I am angry.

I understand fully that anime adaptations don’t generally copy the manga exact. That’s fine, and I accept it. I mean, it would be kind of boring if they were exactly the same, you know? But still, they skipped over so much in this episode that it annoyed me greatly. The first being the Automail arm wrestling. That was awesome! WTF!? WHY DID I NOT SEE AUTOMAIL ARM WRETSLING!? WTFWTF!?

This is NOT Automail Arm-Wrestling. This is BULLSHIT.

Secondly, in the manga, Ed chased Paninya (which is a really cool name btw) all over town, breaking things and building up a debt. It was arguably one of the best chase scenes ever made in history ever. In the anime they settled for a cheap scene near the bridge. Really?

I mean, honestly, they never even stayed in Rush Town for that long. I didn’t see any of the sites, barely any automail. I WAS EXPPECTING A WHOLE EPISODE OF AUTOMAIL! I FEEL RIPPED OFF! I LOVE THE AUTOMAIL! I’m really pissed off. I was so excited for this episode. I was literally waiting the whole season for this episode. I might drop this piece of shit show. (complete and utter lie).

And this is why I don’t read manga. Had I never read the manga, I would not have had anything too be disappointed about. They need to slow this series down, they’re speeding through everything. It’s like they’re trying to squeeze the entire manga into a 24 episode anime. At this point I’m going to shut up, because otherwise I’m just going to keep repeating my disappointment of this episode.

Also, was this whole thing in the original anime? I can’t remember if it was or wasn’t. I don’t think it was, but if it was, and you know the episode, please tell me so I can watch it and not be as angry. Thank you, goodbye.

YOU ARE BEING COMFORTED BY A GHOST WITH NO HEAD!

So here is Itsuki, crying after a dispute. and quite randomly, here comes ghost-dude from back in episode [insert correct episode number here]. He puts his arm around her and, well, I just felt that the whole scene was just silly………..I guess he never decided on a head after all. I thought the pharoh head was pretty sick too.

Other thoughts on the series, since I haven’t talked about it in quite a while.

• It’s still awesome.
• I’m very glad I decided to put it on hold, because now I get to marathon it all at once! Very happy right now.
• The characters still rule, and Honoka is still the best, although Akiha and Itsuki are awesome too. And so is Akiha’s younger sister who doesn’t speak in words. That’s awesome. And so ar- [message ended due to pointless naming of all characters in the show, since every character rules heavy, even the dude with the dress]
• The new OP is better than the old one, but the “in episode” music could use some work. I find it kind of slow and I don’t feel like it matches the show. The new ED is also pretty damn good, although the old ED was good too.
• Pizza Hut, GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY ANIME! That’s two anime with Jun Fukuyama that you’ve been in that I’ve seen (Code Geass and this one). What’s next? Horo from Spice and Wolf is going to start chomping away on one of those new Calzones? FUCKERRRRRRRR.
