Don’t Expect Me To Leave My House Next Week

I’m going to be glued to my computer screen. I have not watched any anime or read any manga in ages, and I’m suffering huge withdrawls. St. Patrick’s Day, I went to Uconn (big party school of parties) for the day/night, and I threw a sandwhich at one of my friends! Is this really acceptable? Well, he took a graham cracker I was going to eat, and dared me to throw the sandwhich at him, so yes, it was completely acceptable. I am happy I did it, and I would do it again too (don’t fuck with my CINNAMON covered crackers bitch! Have fun with the stains on your shirt!). Anyway, here is a list of what I’m going to be doing next week…..oh wait, I should explain why I’m doing this in the first place…

This will be me next week.

Next week, I will be Glo the NEET, not Glo the Legend.

  • Like 3 or 4 of my friends all of my friends came back for their spring breaks, although I still had school for this week, which SUCKED.
  • Next week, they all go back, and I am left alone for my spring break.
  • I have no money, and can’t really do anything during my spring break, although even if I did, I wouldn’t do anything, because I’ve been looking forward to marathoning everything for a while now.
  • ETA is going to stand for Estimated Time it will take for me to finish the thing in question.

So I got a list, here’s the order of my list and it’s in. It goes

Reggie, Jay-Z, Tupaaaac and Biggie Andre from Outcast Jada Kurupt Naaas and then me

  1. Complete Basquash after watching it for like…a year (currently finished 16/26). ETA: Less than a day.
  2. Complete El Cazador de la Bruja (currently finished 7/26). ETA: Maybe a day and a half.
  3. Complete Natsu no Arashi Season II (currently finished 2/13) ETA: A day, maybe less if it’s as good as the first season.
  4. Watch Kara no Kyoukai: This is actually at the top of my list.
  5. Maybe watch 5 cm per Second, and then immediately regret my decision, because I hate things with sad endings.
  6. Watch Sword of the Stranger, which, when added with Kara no Kyoukai, should make this week fuckin awesome.
  7. Begin watching either Gurren Lagann, Tenjou Tenge, or  Moyashimon.
  8. Maybe buy volume 14 of Negima….if I get a paycheck from my “job”, which is 3 hours a week, so isn’t really a job.

That is a HEFTY FUCKIN LIST. Personally, I think the second of the group will be the toughest, and I doubt I will watch 5 cm Per Second (although I guess I kind of have to watch it eventually). So what should I choose for number seven?

  1. Here is my suggestion for a film. Only Yesterday, from Studio Ghibli. A brilliant movie which no one mentions. Is not by Hayao, but by Takahata, and if you have not seen it, it will make your day. Watch that instead of 5cm, which, although good, its more about melancholy and stunning visuals than a great script. I watched 7 episodes of Gurren Lagann but I just wasn’t so eager to know what happens so I quit.
PS: If someone will suggest to watch ”Hachiko: a dog’s story”, DO NOT! You will spare lots of hankies. Never cried so bad in my life. Really.

  2. Wait…what happened to the Baccano watching? I know I reccomended Moyashimon myself because that has plenty of perverted humour while actually staying intelligent (something most perverted humour shows fail miserably at) but Baccano is fucking amazing in every single way possible!

    • CUNT! You’re right….I’ll be watching that too. It will probably take me one day to finish, and I’ll probably do it in between my finishing of Basquash and starting to finish of some other show…..or I’ll just not finish anything and just start new shows…who knows.

  3. I have 5 episode left for TTGL and I still don’t have desire to finish it >_>

Try Moyashimon. You’ll be greatly entertained.

Also I am envious that you got to watch and complete all those anime.

  4. Kara no Kyoukai? Awesome.
    Sword of the Stranger? Awesome.
Gurren Lagann? Awesome. With even better movies you should watch after.
    Moyashimon? Great.
5cm? Very nice animation and a good enough story to carry the movie, though you’ll no doubt be left wondering ‘was that it?’. Still worth watching.
Basquash? Stalled at like episode 8. If that.
Natsu no Arashi II? Only a couple eps ahead of you. Plan on watching the rest at some point…

And Baccano would improve your week a lot.

  5. hey asshole… i got an idea…. FINISH BERSERK… how the fuck have you not finished it yet?? Also i agree with Scamp… you should watch Baccano! its flippin awesome

i think next week ill try to catch up with one piece… cuz tahts all i do these days

    • I’m afraid to, because then I’ll want to read the manga, and then I will, and then I’ll have to wait for new chapters, and that SUCKS. I can’t do that. Berserk is on IR.

  6. You will have to wait a Looooooooong time, because there is no foreseeable ending at the horizon. You will have kids until then. Or be a grandpa. Or go to the underground. Or grow beard. Or live in the woods and have no manga shops. Watch put for those bear traps!

Why let a manga go on that long if you’re going to make people wait so long? I will lose interest immediately. I mean look at XBlade and Gantz, at this point I’ve almost lost interest completely. I still read XBlade, but I’m not as interested as I was. I need to ram through a manga to actually enjoy it.

For the record, I have been able to stave off reading Gantz and Claymore only because of real determination to enjoy marathon later when they’re almost done.

I now refuse to finish Berserk out of spite for the creator.

  7. I remember having waited patiently for Kara no Kyoukai to complete so that I could marathon the whole thing but when it really completes, I’m so busy with many other anime. Thanks for reminding me of it.

My recommendation? how about Kemono no Sōja Erin? but it might be too long and time consuming +_+

    • I will look into Kemono no Soja Erin… far it looks like TTGL is what I’m going to be watching. I guess I’ll see what all of the hype is about, but be warned, if I don’t like it, everyone is going to know about it.

      • I just finished downloaded the last episode of Kemono no Soja Erin. I remember wanting to watch this series because it was produced by the same studio (or was it people) that did Seirei no Moribito.
