Manga Monday: I Read Not Much

Kiben Gakuha, Yotsuya Sensei no Kaidan

Well that title’s long enough Basically, it was a one-shot about a teacher obsessed with telling ghost stories, and a girl who got run over by a train and whose legs were never found. It was pretty good, but it was a one-shot, so it can only be so good. Personally, if it were many chapters long, it would probably get kind of boring, but for a one shot, I would recommend it, because it takes like, three second to read.

There’s not much more to say about this without completely ruining it….soo…..yea.

XBlade 27: Cool Fight.

This was just a cool fight. That was pretty much literally what entire chapter was. It was pretty good, plus some dude showed up. For the record, fights kick ass, so this was a good chapter. I might put this manga on hold for a year or two though.

Ai Kora 107: Funny Irony!

I loved this chapter. Basically, the Hachibei and Tanmaku go to a flea market, Hachibei buys a life size model cutout, and then they get stuck in an elevator. The whole time, Tenmaku is telling Hachibei how embarrassed she is that he bought such a thing, which ends up being involved in an ironic, misconception at the end, which I thought was funny. If you don’t like this manga than you suck.

  1. Xblade chapters are rather intermittent, so we’ll probably have to wait a few months anyways once the current batch of available volumes (vol 8 is latest one i think) run out.

  2. Try reading Motomi Kyousuke’s manga… Say, start with Otokomae! Beads Club… Ah, it’s under shoujo, but it doesn’t really seem like one. Give it a try.

  3. Pingback: Anime!
